The characteristic that distinguishes the Quick Release system from the Dual Dovetail and STD systems is the ability to remove the scope from the rifle and reattach it without the loss of zero (within +/- 1/4 MOA). This system boasts machined steel construction and supremely close machining tolerances. This specific ring model fits any riflescope with a 30mm maintube and is meant to be paired with our Dual Dovetail bases. it is especially popular for muzzle loaders and large caliber rifles.
